For 15 years I waited, most of them impatiently, to marry my "God-sent." Nearly half of my 20s, all of my 30s, and even into my 40s, I waited on the man God said I would marry. Was I crazy? Perhaps delusional? Maybe mistakened? After all, if I was supposed to marry him why had so many years gone by without it happening? For 15 years I felt like I was married to someone who wasn't married to me; I spent nearly every year wondering if "this year was the year." Tribulations worketh patience...

Yet, I waited and my faith was tested, but not just about marriage. God taught me about the power we all possess if we have the courage and hope to believe. By our faith are we able to move God; time and time again as I learned to walk by faith did I experience the manifestation of God's promises and purpose for my life.

This book is about a journey in faith - one that yielded lessons on marriage, money, and ministry. It describes my own process as I waited on God to manifest the promises, but it also shows how when we take one step in faith God will guide us along the way as we learn to trust Him more. Even in our mistakes and missteps, God's promises will not return void. As you read this book it is my hope and prayer that you will be encouraged to believe God's plans for your life and that you will pursue in faith what God has promised you.

God's promise prepares you for His process. I understand the fear and uncertainty you feel when embarking upon something new -- something God has promised, but it doesn't quite make sense. God tells you to do something, and all you know is that you want to be obedient to His purpose and promise for your life, yet it seems like more than you can do or more than you can handle. But the nudge won't go away...you feel compelled to act and therefore you MUST act. When you take that first step of your journey sometimes all you have is faith, but you learn along the way that ALL you needed was FAITH.
